It used to be that business owners often struggled to afford advertising for their products or services and Google AdWords has changed that by offering an inexpensive way to spread the word. To help the marketers effectively manage the bids in their AdWords PPC campaigns, recently, a new “Bid ideas” feature was announced by Google as addition to its AdWords pay-per-click (PPC) tool.
Bid ideas option can be found in the Opportunities tab. The feature is going to help advertisers make better decisions over whether to increase or lower keyword bids in order to increase the return on investment (ROI) they can achieve using Pay-per-Click advertising.
This is a great feature to help marketers to plan their PPC strategy to maximise their successes and feel fully in control of their bids. It can be seen where marketers are believed to have the opportunity to increase clicks without seeing a major hike in costs or to save money without losing many clicks.
The ideas are based on AdWords account’s performance over the previous seven days. Here’s what Miles Johnson have to say about the last addition: “While this tool doesn’t know enough about your advertising goals to make a recommendation of which specific bid is best for you, it does provide useful data and gives you bid ideas to consider.”
